Group classes
This is where most people start. Group Classes are advertised on social media, local newspaper, and on flyers and posters around the city.
Private lessons
Private lessons are one-on-one instruction with just you and the instructor. This is your chance to get personal attention and the feedback you need to progress exponentially faster.
Workshop weekends
Workshop weekends are an excellent way to supplement your learning. Usually a full day or two days of classes are offered. A local studio brings in one or more top professionals to coach them and their students in an intensive group class setting.
Dance conventions
Dance conventions are a great opportunity to learn, to watch and dance with a concentrated group of dancers from every dance level. Attending a dance event will exponentially elevate your dancing, accelerate your learning, increase your confidence, and expand your social network. It can also change your life!
A dance convention is usually held over a weekend at an hotel in a major city. Dance events come in different sizes. Small dance events or workshops usually attract 50-500 dancers. Larger events (conventions) attract 500-1500 dancers.
